Intercom HHT Features
HHT with RIU
The Intercom Hand Held Terminal features an illuminated display with adjustable contrast setting, and is shipped with a ten foot (10') coiled cord, as shown here. The Hand Held Terminal is slightly over 7.5 inches in length.
The HHTi has two operational modes: Standard Mode and Bus Action Mode.
Standard Mode
Operators can adjust:
  • Overall Volume and Sidetone Level
  • Talk Mode (PTT or VOX) - PTT mode requires the operator to key using the HHT or other keying device; VOX allows for voice activated keying.
  • VOX Threshold Level - Only when in VOX talk mode; this modifies the system's sensitivity to the volume of the operator's voice.
  • Intercom Bus Talk & Listen or OFF - Quick access to a single intercom bus is provided via the use of Hot Keys.
Bus Action Mode
Operators can adjust:
  • Specific Intercom Bus Volume
  • Intercom Bus Status - Available options are: "Listen Only", "Talk & Listen", or "OFF". Multiple intercom buses can be assigned any of these.
  • Specific Intercom Bus Duplex Mode - In Half-Duplex, the operator won't hear received audio while speaking. In Full-Duplex, the operator will be able to hear received audio and speak at the same time.
See the links in the right-hand sidebar for additional operator interface options.
