Radio HHT Features
HHT with RIU
The Radio Hand Held Terminal features an illuminated display with adjustable contrast setting, and is shipped with a ten foot (10') coiled cord, as shown here. The Radio Hand Held Terminal is slightly over 7.5 inches in length.
The HHTr has two operational modes: Shared Mode and Master Mode.
Shared Mode
Operators can:
  • Set individual radio volumes.
  • Select multiple radios for "Receive-Only" monitor mode with visual activity indicators.
  • Receive from & Transmit to one or more radios. Instant "hot-key" Rx/Tx activation is achieved by simply entering the radio's number.
  • Radio Transmit "press-to-talk" for non-VOX radios supported.
  • Adjust sidetone volume level.
  • Toggle "Secure" and "Non-Secure" modes for individual radios.
Master Mode
In addition to those functions listed for the "Shared Mode," the operator can also:
  • Set individual radio frequencies or assign Net numbers.
  • Select individual radio squelch settings.
