Radio Diagnostic Tool

The Radio Diagnostic Tool (RDT) is a network analysis tool for DIS radio traffic. The RDT presents the user with a variety of “views” that provide the ability to list and examine radios that have been detected on the connected network. This tool integrates seamlessly with ASTi’s DACS, Telestra, and PC’ver products.
The RDT has been significantly enhanced over the last year, with many features added as a direct result of our experiences from I/ITSEC 2004’s JVTSE demonstration last year, and other large scale exercises supported by ASTi since then.

PC’ver

PC'ver logoNew this year is the first widespread use of the ASTi PC radio solution: PC’ver. The PC’ver application has proven popular due to its simple installation, configuration and operation, and the ability to run it on any Windows XP machine. Some of its features include:
  • Multiple, high-quality radios and intercoms between Windows workstations
  • GUI-based communications control windows
  • Remote user inerface control from the customer host, such as an instructor station
  • Easy network and communications environment setup tools for broadcast and multicast networking
  • Built-in test with audio, PTT and hardware integrity checks
  • A single operator connection is supported at each Windows workstation
More information on ASTi’s PC’ver is available at: www.astipcver.com

PC’ver Remote Manager

The Remote Manager is the most recent addition to the PC’ver suite of applications. Its powerful features allow for remote configuration of any PC’ver running on the network. Remote Manager will self-discover PC’ver sessions on the network, and will provide the ability to control the DIS parameters of each radio and intercom, PC’ver configurations, radio settings and modes, and intercom channels.
