January 13, 2006 – Gate Elektronik of Turkey recently placed an order for the first system of many to support a large scale Turkish training program. Delivery of the state-of-the-art Telestra processing platform, USB-based peripherals and MBV software will follow shortly. This order also includes development of a simple generic "rough-cut" communications model to allow Gate engineering personnel to experiment and develop further models themselves ahead of the main program award.

This order follows a visit to ASTi in late 2005 by engineers from Gate Elektronik and Havelsan, another partner in the same program, for a full training class and system design review. The order from Gate Elektronik represents the third major program award by Turkish companies, and cements ASTi as the preferred system supplier to the leading simulation equipment providers within Turkey.
