ASTi has expanded its Level D capability to an entirely self-contained package in the T4 product suite. The ACE Spectral Analysis package eliminates the need for extra external sound recording/analysis equipment, bulky cables or additional offline computers for eQTG plot generation. The “Level D Capture” object in the ACE modeling environment can capture live simulator audio for comparison against reference recordings. These comparisons can be done in real-time for model adjustment or offline via RMS for preformatted eQTG plot generation for inclusion in Level D certification documentation.

Automatic eQTG tests can be run virtually hands free with control implementation from IOS stations or other host driven controls. Spectral plot generation is then easily performed via RMS in a simple and elegant PDF format.

The 1/3^rd octave scope below displays the real-time difference of the live simulation audio compared to the recorded reference file. This Telestra 4/ACE functionality allows the user to adjust the model and view the effects in real-time.
