Telestra 4 Platform

The ACE Target is an embedded real-time platform for the ACE Studio development tools, providing the modeling and sound generation capabilities. The ACENet devices provide each operator position with an individual, multi-port, audio interface. Keeping the audio in the digital domain out to the operator position ensures the highest quality audio. The ACENet audio distribution architecture runs over standard CAT5 cable, simplifying installations and providing greater flexibility, since distances and exact physical layouts are not restricted.

Highly Scalable with Low Latency

An important feature of the ACENet audio distribution architecture is the latency between any two operator positions, microphone to headset, on the same Target is less than 12 ms. The architecture has the ability to support over 64 channels from a single Target. For larger applications, Targets can be chained together forming massively connected distributed solutions while still maintaining sub-20 ms latencies between inter-platform operators.
Until the advent of ASTi's T4/ACE technology, such low latency, scalable interconnectivity has been completely unattainable. As always the ASTi solution is a fully supported product, based on a COTS framework, with a dedicated and professional engineering team backing the system.
