10/100 Ethernet Card

More than one card may be present in a system. RJ-45 connection to standard Cat-5 UTP network cable. Systems with one Ethernet card support both Host and Comms (DIS/HLA) interface via a single card. If the system has two Ethernet cards, one is the "Dedicated Host" interface, the other is the "Dedicated Comms" interface. Dual 10/100 Ethernet Card

1U Telestra systems only. Card may be supported for DACS systems 2001. RJ-45 connection to standard Cat-5 UTP network cable.

Time Division Multiplex Digital Signal Processor
(TDM DSP)

Foundation for "TDM Ring" which is a loop that connects one or more Remote Interface Units (RIUs) to the DACS system. RJ-45 connection to standard Cat-5 UTP network cable. See the Remote Interface Unit Technical Guide in the Documentation section for details regarding proper TDM Ring connection.

8-Channel Waveform Synthesizer Digital Signal Processor
(8AFA DSP)

Digital Input/ Digital Output Card
(DI/DO)
