1. Perform end-to-end continuity tests
2. Test the cable for suitability of high-speed data transfer
3. Move/wiggle the connectors while testing to ensure the cables are well crimped

NOTE: If testing the cables while attached to the RIU, ensure the RIU is powered OFF. It is highly recommended that the cables be tested prior to connecting them to the TDM and RIUs.
