Ouch! Another training class sized topic in a tiny little FAQ...how can we do it? Well obviously we cannot cover the whole subject but hitting the high spots might get most of you moving.

The DACS system configuration file must contain the line "DIS = on"

You must configure one or more radios or network intercoms to operate in DIS mode. This is achieved by setting the position object to which the radio or intercom is connected into "DIS" mode.

The appropriate network settings must have been entered to set the DIS Ethernet IP address and port numbers for you DIS network.

Your DACS must be physically connected to your DIS network.
