By default the secure Telestra 4 platform disables all remote login via SSH and as a by-product SFTP and SCP. This is done through the /etc/hosts.deny and /etc/hosts.allow files. In the hosts.deny file you will see an entry that says “ALL:ALL”. This basically blocks all SSH access to the Telestra 4. Each site will require a different configuration, so contact your network administrator on how to configure your secure T4. Although not recommended, you can comment out the ALL:ALL entry to allow access from anywhere.
