Can I use more than one source for host control? Example: Instructor host system and simulation host system with separate IP addresses?

Yes, if the instructor host and simulation host are on the same network, then a single network connection is all that is required (with the assumption being that the various hosts will send to individual Ethernet UDP ports).
If the hosts are on separate networks, then we can support additional Ethernet ports beyond the standard 3-port configuration (5-ports is currently supported for a European customer), which results in three networks being available for host control data (since we use one Ethernet connection for the ACENet, and the other is used for DIS/HLA networking to other simulators, etc).
