Telestra 4 FAQs
Can ASTiNet and ACENet be on the same network switch?
No. The two must be separate.
ASTiNet does not have to be on a switch it can be a hub or router. ASTiNet can share a network with other machines such as host computers, DIS/HLA servers, etc. ASTiNet can run on the DIS network or LAN/WAN.
ACENet must be routed through a switch and isolated from all machines that are not ACENet compatible devices. ACENet can be routed on a switch with ACENet compatible devices including Targets, ACUs, ACE-RIUs, Crown Amps, etc. See the ACENet User Guide (DOC-01-TEL4-AN-UG-1) for more information and FAQs.
