ACE Software Release Notes

After installing 4.17 all ACUs and ACE-RIUs require a firmware update.

All previous 1.x versions of ACU and ACE-RIU firmware have been removed since they are no longer compatible.

The 4.17 release has the following enhancements:

• New unified RMS ACENet device page.
  • The new page displays firmware version error in ACENet device health status.
• New ACE-RIU firmware v2.2
• New ACU firmware v2.1
• New capability to export diagnostic information to the host computer using ASTi commands.
• New display for serial data, digital data, analog data I/O information in the health system under "Channel X".

Fixes and Improvements include:

• Fixed ACENet audio which was intermittently going out of the wrong physical channel on a device.
• Improved ACENet to support multiple Targets on the same network segment.
• Fixed ACE-RIUs to recover from disconnect and power off/power back on.
• Fixed ACENet operation for use when an ACENet device conductor is not in a Studio layout.
• Fixed ACENet performance with up to 16 ACE-RIUS's on network.
• Fixed ACENet device power up sequencing issue.
• FIxed ACE-RIU firmware update which was failing in certain conditions.
