The ACE-RIU is a compact DSP-based interface module that connects remotely located operator headsets, speakers, and control panels to a central Telestra 4 Target via the ACENet architecture. The ACE-RIU is an integral component of the Telestra 4 product suite providing low-noise analog-digital conversion and low-latency distribution.

Configurable Front-End: Adjustable amplifiers provide flexiblity to connect with a wide variety of commercial and MIL headsets, speakers, and mics. (Use the ASTi ACU for applications requiring software-configurable amplification.)

High Sample Rate Digital Audio: 48k sample rate ensures high fidelity audio processing.

Wireline Adapter Capability: Bridge live comms over IP. Connect ACE-RIU to equipment like: MIL radios, intercom systems, avionics, PC audio, and E&M voice interface cards. (ASTi Synapse is a turnkey solution for Radio over IP applications.)

Integrated Discrete Control Interfaces: One digital input & output per channel. (Use the ASTi ACU for applications requiring additional discrete control interface capability.)

Dual Serial Data Ports: Plug & play control interface for operator panels like the Hand-Held Terminal and ASTi SINCGARS.

Compatible with Legacy Ancillary Equipment: ACE-RIU drops into installations that used the DACS RIU, making it an elegant choice for facility updates. Customers can re-use DACS RIU equipment including: analog/control cables, headsets, PTTs and HHTs.

Compact / Rugged Package: 4 channel module fits installations from desktop to industrial rack & stack.

The ACE-RIU connects to the ACENet network via an ACENet port on the back panel of the ACE-RIU. The ACE-RIU and the Target platform can connect directly with the use of a cross over cable. The serial ports provide connection to user interface devices including headsets, speakers, press-to-talk units, and hand-held terminals.
