ACUs provide remote interfacing of audio and I/O peripherals to ASTi's ACENet architecture. All audio and I/O is digitally distributed between ACUs and ACE Target modeling platforms for maximum noise rejection and reliability.

Audio: 48 kHz digital audio distribution and pro-audio style interfaces, providing high fidelity audio. Software configurable amp/preamp gains and microphone power selection accommodate a wide range of audio peripherals such as military and commercial headsets, audio amps, speakers, microphones, recording equipment, and real radio/communications equipment.

Digital/Serial I/O: Multiple serial ports and configurable digital/analog I/O provide direct integration of press-to-talk (PTT) units, volume controls, simulated communications panels, hand-held terminals, and live radio control, into the communications environment.

Packaging: Available in 2, 4, and 6 channel 1U (19 inch) rackmount configurations.
