ASTi is pleased to announce that an Airbus A320neo full-flight simulator (FFS) built by AMST-Aviation B.V. in the Netherlands recently received the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) CS-FSTD(A)—Issue 2 Level D certification. The FFS uses ASTi's Telestra product to simulate the aircraft's communication system and generate all the A320's environmental and aural cue sounds.
With over 100 Level D certifications, Telestra has evolved into a dominant force in the sound simulation industry. This dynamic modeling environment features third-octave spectral analysis, automatic speaker equalization, and real-time sound manipulation. SERA is fully compliant with the latest industry requirements for Simulated ATC Environment (SATCE) solutions.
