Synapse Radio-IP Bridge

Synapse Radio-IP Bridge links live radios to IP networks, providing a wealth of capabilities:
  • Network repeater: extend live radio comms between sites through the data network.
  • Realize inter-communications between disparate live radio systems.
  • Use Radio-IP Bridge with Synapse Workstation to link operators to live radios, and conserve live radio usage.

Live Radio Over IP System Features

  • ACE Target central communications server with:
    • ACE: ASTi's latest generation communications software environment.
    • ACENet: Ethernet network-based local audio and I/O distribution architecture.
  • ACE-RIUs(Remote Interface Unit): Analog-digital signal distribution devices.
  • RT Adapter Cables: Connect live radios to Radio-IP Bridge ACE-RIUs.
  • Maintenance Operator Station: Provides full communications capability, including hand-held terminal, headset, and cable.
  • Comms Options: ASTi Intercoms (standard) for basic, clear communications, or:
  • ASTi Radios (optional): For inter-operation with full-fidelity radio simulations.
  • Various Configurations available, including 4, 8 and 16 Radio interfaces.
  • For Use with: PRC-119 (SINCGARS), PRC-117, URC-200 and other radios.

Synapse Workstation

As a stand-alone system or with the Radio-IP Bridge to integrate live radios, the Synapse Workstation provides an elegant and economical solution to distributing voice comms over IP networks linking groups of operators with headsets and hand-held terminals.
