ASTi Announces Rockwell Collins Visual Demonstration at WATS

March 31, 2015

Advanced Simulation Technology inc. (ASTi) announced today that their exhibit at WATS 2015 will demonstrate their Simulated Environment for Realistic ATC (SERA) product in native interoperability with a Rockwell Collins EP-8000 image generator (IG) alongside Airliner1's 737NG flight training device (FTD) and flight management computer (FMC) trainer.

Team leader, Scott Moore, stated that SERA also currently supports the CIGI 3.x protocol for image generators, conferring almost immediate interoperability with any CIGI-conforming host/visual installation. Native interoperability with the most popular IG systems currently in use on commercial trainers is also on his product roadmap.

Pilots and training professionals—especially those with English as a second language—are warmly invited to personally experience the real-world pilot workload that the immersive fidelity of SERA can provide.

Please email Booth600@asti-usa.com to reserve a time slot to pilot the system at WATS. Meanwhile, technical and commercial enquiries should be directed to SERAteam@asti-usa.com.

WATS is at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, FL from April 21st to the 23rd, 2015. ASTi and Airliner1 will be exhibiting in booth #600.
